I stayed at Mumma's Hostel for a month and it was perfect for long-term travelers like myself. The communal areas including the lounge room, TV room, dining area, backyard, and pool provided ample space to relax and socialize. The kitchen with its food storage system was impressive. Breakfast was included and offered a variety of options. The pool was a great spot to unwind, surrounded by lush greenery. The swipe card keys were convenient. Can't wait to return!

The room at Mumma's Hostel Cairns was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a budget traveler like me. I absolutely loved the air conditioning in the room, especially during the hot summer days in Cairns. The free WiFi was a lifesaver, allowing me to stay connected with friends and family back home. The private entrance in the double room gave me a sense of privacy and convenience. Having a shared bathroom was not an issue at all, as it was always clean and well-maintained.
Personally, I would have preferred a room with a city view, but I understand that not all rooms have this feature.

I had an amazing weekend at this hostel! The free breakfast every morning was a great way to start the day, and the garden and pool area were really nice to relax in. I also loved that each bed had its own curtain, light, and plug sockets, as well as a storage drawer under the bed and a large lockable locker. It made it really convenient to have everything right next to my bed.
There were a few things that I didn't like about my stay. the cleanliness of the hostel was a major issue.

I was impressed with the convenient self-check-in process, as well as the friendly and responsive staff. The location was perfect, just a short walk from a dive shop, and there were plenty of amenities such as workout spaces, a pool. The bunks with curtains provided privacy, and the cleanliness of the general surface areas was commendable. The staff made an effort to clean the toilet and shower blocks twice a day.
The room temperature could be a bit chilly due to the air conditioning being either too high or turned off.

The common areas, like the pool and ping pong table, provided a fun and sociable environment. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and we were provided with free soap in the shower. The kitchen facilities were good and it was convenient to have a laundry available for use. The central location of the hostel was also a major plus, allowing us to easily explore the city.
